Freya & Mac are all the feels turned to 11!
I already adore Amy’s bookiverse. I’ve read Freya and Mac’s story twice already so I was excited to listen to it, especially since Amy here books done duet style! Will and Charlotte were awesome as Freya & Mac (and as everyone else but let’s be honest, Freya and Mac are who we are here for).
So many things I love about this story. Mac and Freya’s friendship. Mac’s refusal to let Freya talk herself down. Freya’s quirks. Her crazy cat, Hercules. Her cat coffee mugs and night shirts. Her generous spirit. Mac’s determination to fulfill his grandfather’s dreams.
It touched me when I first read it but it touched me even more when in audio. Like the hen night. I love the hen night. I love that group of ladies. Amy Daws has created a world of women who support each other not tear each other down.
Not only is this read full of friendship, but it is also full of feels, humor, a dash of drama (because what romance doesn’t have drama), and lots of steam…oh, and lots of Heartland mentions. 😉
