The perfect Hollywood Romance…with an Englishman….

Liam is charming, silly, and surprisingly more. He just needs the right test of his mettle to prove he is more than just a pretty face.
I loved this book. I think I’ve read thru it three times to write this review.
Liam tends to be a touch impetuous. To the frustration of his manager. Well, honestly, everyone. It tends to land him in situations he doesn’t like or intend. Like the one that leads to him firing his former house manager.
Not that she didn’t deserve it. But it could have been handled more smoothly. His Oscar would certainly agree.
But it turned out to be perfect timing because his manager’s sister, Shelby ended up coming into his life and the rest, as they say, is history. She changes his house, his stomach, his closet, everything for the better.
Eventually, like all good romantic comedies, he starts to see her as more than a friend. I love the evolution of their relationship.
I also like that he’s not your typical playboy. He’s vulnerable. And he really does care about those around him.
Shelby acts like she’s ancient compared to him. Which he doesn’t see at all. She’s also separated but still married because her husband is a piece of work. Liam brings out her playful side.
Being Melanie, she isn’t going to give us a smooth road. There’s a wee bit of a bump in the journey but in the end, it’s fantastic.
And that epilogue is hilarious!!
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
