Hadley just fits right in. From the first meeting with Mills and his adorable son, Arden, who saw her as mama from the beginning as if he knew what his daddy didn’t yet.
I loved this one. It left me with a warm glow of happiness inside. Mills is definitely the low drama brother. He has a dash of drama when his Aldridge tendency to think he knows best takes over briefly, but luckily he comes to his senses quickly.
And Hadley fits great with all the other amazing women in the Aldridge world. She’s smart, strong, loving, and loyal.
Of course, we get more clues to the mystery that was the late William Aldridge as well as time with the brothers and their loves. I can’t wait to read Vance’s book.
