Tatum and Harrison had one magic night on Catalina (the same magic night their BFF’s Natalie & Nick met and started their journey to a HEA).
Tatum doesn’t believe in the fairytale. She’s been burned by life and so instead embraces the fun but avoids the entanglements. Natalie is her person and her one reliable constant. When the two of them meet Harrison and Nick, a night neither of them will ever forget begins. A night that still lingers in the memory.
Harrison wanted that night to be the start of more. Tatum did too, even if she is skittish. Instead, life got in the way and now, years later, they are in each others lives again because their best friends found each other again.
They are like oil and water most of the time but Harrison has to spend time in New York and so he takes a chance on starting something with the woman he has never forgotten, or gotten over.
It takes some work. Lots of miscommunication. Some time apart. An unexpected pregnancy. Meddling friends and family. Some super hot chemistry. Their story may have started with no strings but it rapidly became a mess of feelings.
This book has heat, humor, friendship, loyalty, a dash of drama, family (good and bad, by blood and choice), and has my favorite trope of enemies to lovers in addition to second chances AND a surprise pregnancy.
I loved Harrison!! Love Tatum’s independent spirit! The book left me smiling and happy. I love that warm HEA glow!!
