The second in Kristen’s With Me In Seattle Mafia series, this book focuses on Shane Martinelli and Ivie Jordan. Shane is an ex-not so ex-special operative. We get a glimpse of his secret job in the beginning. We also learn that Ivie has her secrets as well.

~A strong, sassy, independent, awkward heroine who wants our hero to realize he can be loved too.
~A sexy, alpha male who wants to protect our heroine but also wants her to be able to protect and defend herself.
In short, we get some action, some espionage, lots of steam, sass, and sexy. Just my kind of book!! I am loving this series. I love that Ivie comes into her own.
Not only do we get to see Nadia, Annika, Carmine, and Rafe (Rocco) but we also meet Shane’s friend and employee, Curt and get to see the older generation of Martinellis and Tarenkovs.
I’m kind of hoping for a Curt book. He’s a mystery who deserves a HEA. But in the meantime, we get some Annika and Rocco soon!!
